What is a nameserver?

Posted on July 31, 2009

A nameserver defines the location of where a web site lives on each domain.  In order for your web site to work correctly, you need to change the nameserver associated with your domain to route to the correct physical server.  Web sites hosted at Green Media Hosting should be changed to Green Media’s nameservers.

What Our Clients Are Saying...

“Green Media Design is proactive with updates and very good with technical and design elements as well as SEO. Mick knows his plugins for Wordpress backwards and forwards and can also script his own. He also keeps in mind long term ease of use for blog user when setting up interface, and is good at facilitating the creative process. Highly recommended.”
